Dave was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND. He started playing competative tennis at age 10 and went on to be a High School State Champion and later attended the University of North Dakota. Dave has been teaching for over 25 years in a wide range of settings including: coaching high school tennis teams, private lessons for juniors & adults, group lessons for juniors & adults, women's league teams, USTA men's & women's teams, director of junior programs, and has taught High School State Champions.
